Service Delivery Working Group

• Goal 1: Develop awareness in the community and state of available services by documenting the type and scope of available services
  Steps taken:
• A sub-committee was formed to develop a questionnaire to identify available services
• A graduate student at the University of Utah was recruited to coordinate the implementation and documentation of the survey
• The results of the infant toddler mental health survey were disseminated on the Baby Watch web site
• The St. George Infant Toddler Mental Health Committee met with Southwest Community Mental Health to develop an interagency agreement. The agreement focused on referrals and follow-up case management

• Goal 2: Create a family-friendly brochure to help parents identify normal development and signs that outside services should be sought
  Steps taken
• A panel to discuss public awareness of infant-toddler mental health issues will be held during the Private Child Care Association's Annual Conference

• Goal 3: Provide families with a checklist to increase their awareness of risk factors that can contribute to their child's emotional or behavioral challenges

• Goal 4: Explore the availability and appropriateness of using Telehealth for consultation with, and support to, families and service providers
  Step taken:
• Conference call with Georgetown University on the use of Telehealth in rural communities
